The painter John Singer Sargent once said: “Every time I paint a portrait I lose a friend”. Instead Hein and I became very good friends while painting his portrait. There were many inspiring sittings discussing the intensity and parallels of our professions. This portrait is trying to reflect the energy and determination of this award winning actor.
